I'm reading Liar Game again atm.
Heard really good things about this. Is it like Death Note?
I'm thinkig of checking out Toriko
lol weird plot outline:
"It follows the adventure of Toriko, a Gourmet Hunter, as he searches for rare, diverse foods to complete a full-course meal. On his journey, he is accompanied by a timid chef who wants to improve his skills."
and 20th Century Boys afterwards though.
You should check this out right away it's really good it has massive cast of characters and tells the story simultansouly through 2 different timelines. Plus it has really good villains and the mastermind behind everything is really mysterious and badass. 😄
I plan on checking out Great teacher Onizuka after finishing this.

Yeah, only much smarter imo. It's freaking genius how the characters manipulate the games to win. Plus Akiyama is a total pimp.

I haven't read it yet because it sounds so strange, but apparantly its really good. So I'll check it out.

Ok, I've only heard good things about it, so its definately on my list.
Btw, how is Legend of Galactic Heroes?
Btw, how is Legend of Galactic Heroes?
Well I'm only up to episode 4 but so far it's pretty good. I know I said 20th century boys has a pretty big cast of characters but this make that look mild. Its very light on action and excitement as well and more about the drama between the different characters and the plotting and scheming behind the scenes. It's a space opera and it's basically about a war between these two massive factions, the Empire and the Alliance (lol) that's been going on for over a hundred years, and it seems that you'll be looking at both sides as the story progresses. It also really goes into a lot of detail with the milatary strategy and atctics. Someone who recommended it compared it to Game of Thrones as far as the plotting and schemeing and politics goes, and I also saw seomeon say that if you think of Death Note as chess, something like Code Geass would be rock papers scissoers (rofl) but that something like Galactic Heroes would be 3D Chess. So it's apparently very clever and intricate. It's really old though so animation isn't exactly spectacular, and there aren't any english dubs for it. Its like the 5th highest rated anime of all time btw.
I actually like all of it, but there is big difference betweon those sorts of animes and manga and the more serious, realistic stuff, and I can see why you wouldn't like that stuff or view it kiddy for example. If you want I could recommend you some manga that isn't anything like that and is more serious, realistic, dark mature and awesome.

I have never been a Manga or Anime fan. They tend to be utterly ridiculous, and always have the, "CHANNEL SPIRIT POWER! DO STUFF! CHANNEL MORE SPIRIT POWER! SPIRIT DRILL ATTACK: FUJITORI NO-JUTSU!!!!" stuff and I really don't find that entertaining.
Watch Death Note. It turned me into a weebo.
Spoiler:
Ok, not really but it is a dman good show. Cowboy Bebop kicks ass as well.
