Good choice, Liara rocks. Plus the scene with her near the end of the game is just so touching... Even more so that the scene with my love intrest, Miranda.

I couldn't bring myself to cheat on her, plus as Femshep it was either her, Garrus (who I see as a friend), Kaiden (lolno), Jacob (who?) or Thane (I didn't like him).

Or Chobot of course. 😐

I think Liara is the 'canon' love interest, and I really loved her and Sheps scenes. They really did feel like a couple in the last game.

Yeah. Bioware really seemed to be pushing a Liara romance in ME3, which is surprising since they seemed to be pushing Ashley/Kaiden in the first game.

Liara was my love interest in the first game, but I plan on cheating with as many of them as possible as i really want to romance Chobot and Tali. 😄

Yeah but they both suck.

Plus they were barely in it in the 2nd game whereas Liara got sidequests, you could talk to her whenever and her own DLC mission. 95% of players probably cheated on them like mother****ers.

Edit: Dude, don't romance Chobot, seriously.

FYI Chobot's character is ****in horrible.

Tali is easily a better, more endearing character than Liara.

That a pseudo-gay, limp-wristed girlyman like Nephthys thinks the opposite is proof of this.

Indeed, they messed up big time there.

Tali has weird hands and feet. Liara likes hot lesbian love.

Liara>Tali

Coincidentally Tali also has the creepiest fans.

Nemebro.

Yeah, I think that's why I dislike her more than anything. In the games she was just kinda there. She really didn't do much and her personality was rather bland and annoying IMO.

I like Tali, but as Femshep I couldn't romance her anyway.

Now Liara's up for some hot sweaty yuri action. Damn she's an awesome love interest.

I liked Tali because I want to install Geth in a Quarian suit.

But I romanced Liara. Always with the blue sex. (I think I cheated but I stuck with her when it counted.) That was a cool plotpoint (that relationships are pretty durable) but I had forgotten my ME1 playthrough long before I started up ME2. So that wasn't much of a dilemma.

Btw, more Mass Effect stuff has happened.

I'm not proud. I'm displeased enough that I'd consider accusing this of being another fanfiction-y addition to a major franchise.

Luckily, I've used up my quota on that word (for today) and will have to content myself with "unconscionable."

I think that Ashley is the canon one. Beginning of ME2 it seems that thats the romance option they picked for you, and then you get the option to have her as a crew member again in ME3.

I need to find another copy of ME1. Mine was lost.... 🙁

Off to MINECRAFT!/Technic Pack`

To be fair, the CE Edition of ME2 has a comic that shows Liara going after Shepard's remains. Even then it's obvious she has a total crush on Shep, and as she develops and becomes more mature (ME2, Lair of the Shadow Broker, ME3 etc.) she becomes perhaps the most reasonable romance option IMO. Tali was truly endearing, and probably second best. Ashley was kind of a *****. I didn't feel like the relationship had any development for her in ME3. Considering her and Kaiden have identical lines, I thought that was a huge problem.

Anybody here ever play in one of these:

We should do a special SWVF won where only people who post here can participate. Could be fun, just like a Bioware game.

Ashley has always been my favorite of the female romantic options. Out of all the women, she's the most down-to-earth, and her views would be similar to mine if I lived in the Mass Effect universe. Practicality is hot.

I haven't played ME3 yet, aside from the demo, but they totally ruined her look. She looks like Miranda, but worse.
