But that doesn't make sense to me. I much prefer "the splendour of the Galaxy in glory undimmed before the breaking of the world."

The aesthetic of the OT has always irked me; especially in games like Battlefront where you get to compare the two eras directly. (I always liked playing as the Republic more than the Empire.)

What do you mean? You don't like the Imperial designs, or do you not like the slightly scruffy look the OT has?

It's the scruffiness, alongside the bizarre ship-design. Tie-fighters always seemed really silly to me. X-wings were cool, though.

Hi-tech universes should have at least one shiny (non-gay, sorry 3P0) kind of technology. The lightsaber is a stopgap measure, but I'd really like for the Chiss to come out of left field during the final scenes in ANH. (Or RotJ. But ESB is a masterpiece.)

I kind of preferred the OT's rugged but real look compared to the PT's video game CG look.

Definitely agree with Stealth, the OT looked real whereas the PT looked fake as shit. It was way too clean.

There's also the point that ESB is far and away the best movie of the series.

Compare concept art, though, and I'll take Theed over Mos Eisley.

Oh, some of the concept art is simply amazing, agreed there.

That actually looks good, and not like the bull-shit that was that cartoon originally. I stopped watching back in season two.... Has it gotten any better, or is it still bull-shit apart from the irregular good one?
