Personally mine would be playing Jade Empire, hearing all about the Water Dragon and then finally seeing it, with the sad music in the background. Brings me to tears everytime.

A little late to discussion, but for me it has to be ending to Metal Gear Solid 3. Not only did it bring me to tears but it still does every now and then when I think about it. the Boss's story is so sad. 🙁

First- the plot structure is pretty good. People stumbling on a threat, Naga using various deceptive plots, sister trying to get the story out, etc.. Very SW-y.

Second- Gav is an *idiot*. His sister too, to an extent, but especially Gav.

Third- Force powers wise, it was all about the magic. The first story arc had a single sword duel, and it was interrupted by a Sith ghost (who really shouldn't have interrupted; best thing for him to do is hope Sadow loses), and the second had the dark side user use waves of darkness and stuff and again no duel. Battle meditation and illusions took center stage (Arca Jeth was kinda a jerk- "You shouldn't have relied so much on your sabers, you should've relied on battle meditation like I did." "Master, you never taught us battle meditation." "So I didn't. Well, I guess the test was too hard for you."😉

Forth- That said, some of the big feats were somewhat less bad then expected. Like Naga Sadow and the sun- he really just made a solar flare, and then existing instabilities in the sun made it go boom. Even making a flare is on the silly side, though.

Yeah the force feats in TotJ really arent' all that amazing, despite what ancient sith fanboys tell you (131). Naga Sadow' feat with the sun wasn't even his doing. It's stated in one of the opening scrawls precluding each issue that he used his ship to perform the mass illusions/sun busting abilities.

I'll also note that apparently the Massassi loyal to Sadow were apparently able to murder a whole buncha sith. Seemed like aside from Sadow and Kressh they generally weren't too impressive (which would also explain why they were so willing to fall in line behind one or another). I think Sadow was right when he said the Sith Empire had been in decline.

Question: why are the mods in the VG forum such fanboys of Guild Wars? I played the first game and it was really bad in all honesty...

Another question: how do people compare KoTOR and Mass Effect? I get the impression that people think ME is the better out of the two but I personally cannot agree. When Kotor 2 came out I almost HAD to play it and purchase it first day. Same way I feel about MGS, GTA, and Legend of Zelda, or a WoW expansion. Not the case wiht ME and I still havn;t felt the ened to play its sequels yet. Same with Dragon Age as well. Honestly KotOR just had way better characters and a more memorable, epic storyline.
