Guy, I'm not going to risk getting banned by posting word quilt over word quilt to you debating an idiotic and useless subject like "Which vidyagame is 'objectively' (Harhar someone doesn't know the meaning of this word) better".
Yea.
I also don't get why the regularly-banned people think 'make a new account, post 5 random posts, and be unable to hold conversations due to re-bannings' is an actual goal worth fighting for. Just go to a new forum, seriously.
Because this subforum belongs to the "regularly banned" people who have been here for 5-10 years and are being run out by an incompetent admin. Said people will continue to post on this subforum on their own terms until it's either deleted or the admins back off. And since I don't see the latter happening because of egos and insecurities, I'll run a sock program until registration is closed again.
I didn't really like Bebop that much. It was good, but no second coming. But then, the lack of much on-going plot isn't really my bag.

x100 better than any recent Star Wars work. Good to see some bias for the Empire this time.
Yeah, they kicked ass. Stormtrooper Aim is dumb anyway.
I did have to rein in my sperg a bit. It doesn't matter that technically the Empire is pretty sexist, so a female pilot is odd. Jus-just watch the video Neph.....
Your personality is splitting in two. What's the other one called?
And Empire bias is a good thing from a storytelling perspective. It's like the problem with the Clone Wars products--there's not much telling us about the lives and goings-on of the people on the other guys' side. A story that involves solely Imperials fighting for their beliefs (instead for evil or sadism) would be interesting.

The Jedi see no oppression or injustice, and so do not intercede. The courts are even more backed up than the [agency in question]. The Crime syndicate's smuggling cut tips the cost of export into the not-profitable range. The system faces rising unemployment and a plummeting standard of living as population growth outpaces GGP (Gross Global Product).
Intercontinental War breaks out over dwindling spaceship-building resources, depleted by the mad rush to secure any form of export-avenue. The Republic (and the Jedi) do not intervene because it is a local political issue that does not escape the atmosphere of the main planet. Maybe police-forces destroy any "belligerent" shuttles escaping orbit, amplifying aforementioned woes.
Dooku appears on the planet, promising immediate markets/demand for [industry], along with military assistance for [continent]. All that he asks is a formal renunciation of the Republic charter. 😐
(I'm not sure how much of that matters to anyone that's not in my specific econ class, but it's what was on my mind at the moment.)
Call me boring, but I want to see a game or novel that involves stuff like that. One that really establishes economics in the galaxy at single planetary levels, and discussing how that intertwines with the war and politics. Leave the Jedi/Sith stuff out of it, the Force too. Focus on the people of the Confederacy instead of the cartoon stereotypes and the robots. And focus on why they believe in fighting the war and seceding. Start demonizing the Republic from the opposite side for once instead of always the other way round. Cuz let's face it, so far all we've seen is "the Republic and the people of" fighting against robots and a small cabal of moral-less mercenaries and corrupt/inept tradesmen. Fiction be damned, that's just lazy storytelling. Also retarded.
