But.. Halo Wars cinematics>>>every game ever. Those cutscenes are f*cking beautiful.
Halo has nothing on the Assassins Creed series or Deus Ex:HR. HR was probably the greatest game I've ever played, if you consider gameplay, graphics, video scenes, awesome music, story, etc.

that would be like saying, "Skyrim is not a 10/10 game because it does not have cars". Random criteria is meanimgless.
No it wouldn't be.
Are you retarded?
You have to look at the general components of a videogame to see what it offers in each, nothing random or insignificant. It is 10/10 calibre in gameplay, story, sound, and even graphics at the time of release.
No it isn't. That you think you can say that as an absolute fact only proves you're a biased assclown.
And btw: The most criticised element of MGS4 was its storyline. This is also true of the clownshoe plot of 2.
Plus I know you are a fan anyway as you already said you are so I'm guessing you have another game in mind for beign the best, yes? Skyrim? lol... please.
I speak against you because I am a fan of MGS, and you give people who like the series a bad name, and make it look bad.
Skyrim is certainly better, and there are other superior games as well.
Fallout for example.
Agreed about QTEs which were only included in Peace Walker, just giving you an example bro. What I meant by cinematic actions is being able to control where your character is looking and focusing on certain details in the cutscenes which you have been able to do since MGS3. That does make them slightly interactive.
Oh, you mean like, looking at Raging Raven's ass? That was probably the best part about that scene.
The B&B corps were a joke, everything about them was so stupid so as to be hilarious.
Edit - And what is more impressive is how so much abotu what is right about MGS can be identficied with a single man: Hideo Kojima. he created the series, he conceives and writes the storyline, he designs the gameplay, and if you look at the credits he has numerous tehcnical roles in the games as well. Greatest videogame designer of all time.
All of that is impressive on Kojima's part, but means absolutely nothing to the quality of the game itself.

This discussion was over the moment I proclaimed Halo 2's supremacy over the other, inferior installments. It enhanced an entertaining premise into a genuinely compelling story with the introduction of the Arbiter and the Prophet of Truth was an exemplary villain: cunning, opportunistic, patient. Alas, it wasn't meant to be: but just how the Prophet of Mercy managed to sneak aboard the Forerunner dreadnought to murder Truth and impersonate him for the remainder of the story eludes me.
4 is good, but it has a number of plot holes, an underwhelming baddie (compared to the real!Truth), and borrows too much from other games instead of staying the course. In terms of sheer gameplay and emotional dimensions, though, it's great.

Apparently they wanted to make him more "primary antagonist" sounding, so they deepened his voice and made him more erratic and foolish sounding. It was the biggest let down of Halo 3 for me when he popped up on the screen and told the humans that "the point is conceded."
True, but Miranda is not the type to defer to a committee. I recall that shortly after 2 was released that the prevalent rumor was that Truth was secretly an atheist who either didn't believe or give a rat's ass about the Great Journey. Ah, what could have been....
