Put Cloak of Deception and Yoda: Dark Rendezvous on your reading list.

I've been meaning to read the novels involved in the Vong War. Are they worth it?

Traitor and The Unifying Force are great. To a lesser extent, Destiny's Way is good. The rest are average, I think.

It's a dark series, but I think better as a whole than it's been given credit for. The Vong are a strong alternative to the newest renegade Jedi of the week.

So which books encompass the Vong War?

If you have any books written after it there should be a list at the front of one.

uuuaaaarghhhhh. Happy 2013, loves.

The New Jedi Order series you scrub.

Rogue Planet is the best I think. It's written by Greg Bear who's probably the most legit SW EU author there is, he's one Nebula, Hugo, Locus and Arthur C Clark awards, it's the only legit novel set between TPM and AOTC featuring young Ani and it gives us our first look atZonama Sekot.

Depressed. Michigan had a tough loss to South Carolina in the Outback Bowl. Man, this stings... 🙁

Yeah, well we had to play Georgia.

Fricken mother flippin Georgia. Things did not end well.

Silly teams, thinking they could beat the SEC.

You guys did well till the end, when Georgia finally pulled away. Everybody thought, after GA nearly defeated Bama, that the Bulldogs would thrash you guys like 45-10. I saw some highlights from your game, and it just seemed wild. You guys just seem to give up too many points, unfortunately.

And we very well could have defeated SC. Stupid SEC fanboys were proclaiming how Michigan would be run over and lose by three touchdowns. Even after losing some starting players, including our starting CB, before this game, we still could have won the game if we made one or two sacks at the very end. We just gave up too many big plays.

Tell the SEC to come to Memorial Stadium or the Big House and see how they fare in those arenas of the North.

I'm an SEC fanboy but I went to a big 12 school. The SEC is easily the best conference in football. They've won the past 6 titles, they'll win this year again and it won't be close.

The whole NJO series encompasses the Vong War?

How could you be from Big 12 and be an SEC fan?

They've been the best conference for only the last several years; they weren't always dominant. And based on some of these bowl games, they divide between the conferences isn't much.

UM and OSU are building some great recruiting classes; I can't wait till 2014 and 2015 when all those players take the field. The B1G may break SEC National Title dominance in the nearby future.

Because I'm a fan of the game and college rivalries are incredibly retarded. SEC football is the most dominant game in college and rightfully so.

No other conference comes close.

I think Florida/Alabama will be favored next year.

I was happy to be ahead at the half, but we're not exactly used to that. I think we did as well as could've been expected, but that hasn't stopped my facebook feed from filling with calls for Bo to quit. 😬

Well, as a Michigan student, I don't find rivalries retarded. Michigan vs. Ohio State is the best rivalry in the nation.

No other conference comes close.

And yet, Clemson beat LSU. And Nebraska gave Georgia a tough fight, and Michigan/South Carolina came down to the wire. I don't think you can put up the argument that "no other conference comes close" when the SEC hasn't blown out these teams.

Bama will always be favored.

Lol, every time I click on the Conversation section on ESPN for any Nebraska game, there are so many "Fire Bo" comments...you guys should get a new Defensive Coordinator I think.

There have been a lot of "Fire Borges" (Borges is our Offensive Coordinator) comments this year. Especially after the Ohio State game, which we really should have won, all of us couldn't believe the mind-boggling calls Borges was making. At least this game he opened the playbook so none of us can truly blame him.

I can't wait till our new recruiting classes develop into starters. We have so little depth and our Spread option players are just not made for Pro style play.

I understand that college students are insecure idiots who desperately want to belong, so once they get to a school, the "rivalry" becomes theirs. Also, Denard Robinson is a huge turd. Sick athletic abilities but terrible QB.

The SEC doesn't have to blow out teams for it to be by far the most dominant division.

I was watching that NIUvsFSU game yestearday, and NIU's offense reminded me of Tony Sparano's impotent wild cat offense. God that shit's awful.

Anyone got that that new Clone Wars Darth Maul book yet? It should be out now.

It doesn't happen just in college, but also in high school? You have your rival school that you just want to beat badly every time. I say Michigan/OSU is the best because it has national prominence, and there's just a lot of bad blood between the two schools.

Denard is also one of the nicest and humblest kids you will have at QB at any school. Listen to him talk. He also guided our team through the Rich Rod dark days from 2008-2010 and didn't leave during Hoke's transition years (learned a completely different offensive scheme). He's single-handedly won so many games for us, it's crazy. He does a lot for Michigan both on and off the field, so I'm glad he's been the face of our program. Michigan will miss him.

Also, seeing some of the other QBs at other bowl games, a healthy Denard is better than a lot of them. I'm not saying he's RGIII or Michael Vick, but he's not bad. And his scrambling ability makes up for his erratic QB play. Still, I'm not going to lie, I'm more relieved we have passers like Devin Gardner and incoming Shane Morris where we don't have to hold our breath when they throw bombs.

They are overall the best division.

Yeah, I didn't get to see that game, but watched the highlights. NIU just seemed outmatched in every category except for trick plays.

I'm a soccer player and I was starting PG in high school and I wanted to beat everybody. I didn't care so much about rivalries but everyone on the opposing side was a "rival".

I did not question his character, I questioned his football skills. He'll make it in the NFL as a WR but not as a QB.

He's a Vick type of player. God given athletic talent but lack of proper decision making.

I'd say 90% of the plays were the wildcat formation involving Tebow. It was embarrassing.

I mean yeah, I played tennis in high school, and I never wanted to lose. At the same time, playing against a rival school always had more tension/high stakes, even if it was just in regular season. I definitely was more emotional in those matches.

Yeah, I don't know what position he'll play. He could be a Special Teams Kick Returner, WR, or a CB. He could also be a wildcat QB.

I don't think our Offensive Coordinator used him well. Borges should have slowed the transition into Pro-style offense, or at least kept the 2011 hybrid offense. Denard was completely uncomfortable making throws he made back in Rich Rod's spread. He had two great games in 2011 against Nebraska and Ohio State, and after Notre Dame this year (which was his fault), he played well until his injury.

Still, I don't think anyone really expected him to be under center on Sunday's, even the vast majority of Michigan faithful. Hope he goes to a team that can use him well.
