Someone also modded Bastila on to Korriban. Oddly, there's full dialogue for it by the voice actors, so it must have been cut for the final release.

I didn't cut anything when I final released all over your Mom.

i'm here guys

Thank God.

it's time to get the show on the road.

So now that I have some free time I'm gonna play KOTOR again... Which build do you guys recommend for a melee based character?

I'm actually in the process of replaying it now.

But Marl has been kicking my ass in the Hutt's dueling ring on Taris nonstop, inciting me to thrice rage!quit.

Soldier/Guardian.

I was actually thinking about picking it up off of steam myself!

I'm feeling like a good gunslinger run with Scout and Orange-blader is in order. (The one that is followed by watchman in #2)

Edit: Lucien: 😬

How many Soldier/Guardian builds has everyone done? That is both boring and pointless. If you're going guardian, then you should snag Sneak Attack or Uncanny dodge (i.e. either of the other two options) since you've already got DPS covered

Are you guys talking about KOTOR or TOR? TOR sucks

KOTOR, not TOR.

And yeah Zamp, but the thing is I've always chosen soldier/consular, so now I want to do things differently. Uncanny dodge sounds good, though.

THIS WAY YOU GET SKILL POINTS, TOOO

I've actually never played soldier/guardian... How about scout/sentinel?

It's super boring and super easy. But if you just want melee...

I prefer Scout/Sentinel as the most difficult. Combat-wise, Guardian and Consular are a breeze; just span melee/Force powers. When the focus is on skills, not feats or Force powers, combat becomes hard.

Guardian/Soldier isn't the go-to class in the game, consular is. Like all Bioware "mage"-classes, it's broken as shit. Walk into a room, use force storm three or four times, everything in the room is dead. Rinse, repeat.

Part of the reason I gave up on beating KOTOR2. Aside from it's shitty story, choosing to play as a Sith Consular was just a bad idea.

KotoR II had an amazing story, by all accounts.

And I thought "Consular's" were only Jedi - you must be thinking of the "Sith Lord" class. 😮‍💨

yah, I don't know what the Sith equivalent of it is.

KOTOR2's story is so dull. There's no sensible macguffin to keep you moving from plot point to plot point, like there was in KOTOR1. The "nihilistic" vibe that Kreia is constantly emanating seems to be a major theme throughout the entire game, because too many times I've found myself thinking "Why the **** am I on this planet?"

Wow, what a maroon.

The dialogue is horrendous. As a recent example, during a conversation with Kreia she is in awe of Nihilus's "power" (her words). Then, during the same conversation when the Exile makes a similar comment, Kreia says: "Power, you think so?" and then proceeds to deflate the idea.

facepalm

What a contentious ****.

😬

Kotor II has some of the best dialogue in all of video gamedom. You're just hideously biased.
