Master Chief takes this. He has no presence in the force, and thus cannot be sensed with the force, or directly affected with the force. His bullets move much quicker than blasters do in the SW movies, and I'm not sure whether Yoda would be able to block some heavy machine gun fire for too long.
Is it really that case, that anyone outside of the star wars universe is not sensable nor affected by the force? The Vong aren't abscent from the force, they are just on another level of it, not the same thing as being totally away from it. Would MC really be the same case as the Vong?
And Yoda can stop bullets in the air with the force, and draw in the guns. I don't see MC as to much of a challenge.

I don't know too much about the NJO, but from what I do know, the jedi are sensitive to the living force, whereas the Vong don't even register to that, but the unifying force. So it's the absence of the Living force that enables them to have those characteristics. So the same would apply to MC, except with the unifying force too I guess.

Aren't real life bullets much faster than bullets in the SW universe? The blaster bolts seem to move pretty slow, so I'd imagine it would be the same for bullets, would it not?

What are you talking about? SW and Halo are part of different mythologies, and subject to different rules. The force doesn't exist in Halo, that's all there is to it.

My ruling on that (and one of the reasons there isn't a All Vs. forum, because of whiners like Allfg that'll reason 'l0lz, no Forc n teh Halo!'😉 is that Yoda will have the use of the Force and can use it on Master Chief. That's pretty much a duh, you idiots moment. Otherwise, it's entirely pointless to pit someone who uses the Force to do battle against someone who doesn't...
Everything the Covenant uses could possibly be deflected by Yoda, Force or otherwise. And Jedi can avoid bullets; I don't recall Master Chief carrying around a machine gun, maybe a submachine gun. Once the clip is empty, he'll have to reload, which gives Yoda a nice opening...
The Covenant Energy Blade vs. a lightsaber could be interesting...

Yeah, but i dont think MC is a GREAT swordsman... or at least not better than Yoda
Word, he's not. But he dodges "lasers" in his own time like it's nothing, so I think he has a fair chance, nto to mention that Yoda's "quick yet light" lightsaber strikes would be countered by his shield.
