Then surely you can see that she has way more to her name than just her Battle Meditation, right?
Not really, no. I haven't seen (or read, for that matter) anything that would make me think that Bastilla is anywhere near as powerful as you claim that she is.
How so?Bastilla's BM was so strong that both the Republic and the Sith solely relied on her Battle Meditation for the war effort.
Her BM was apparently leagues beyond Nomi Sunrider's, given that Nomi was directly stated as being around during the times, yet the Jedi didn't even acknowledge it.
Her BM was so powerful that she could instantly bring back the Republic from defeat and ensure that they win.
The Emperor's Battle Meditation encompassed the entire Imperial fleet, Nebaris. He didn't need to meditate or act completely defenseless in order to use it, either. He was still capable of confronting both Vader and Luke during the debacle on Endor, while still actively using the Battle Meditation on his fleet. In fact, it was the Emperor's death that - according to the RotJ novelization - unwound the Empire. Afterall, the Imperials still had (by far) the upper hand in terms of firepower and numbers, even with the Death Star gone. The Emperor's death simply threw them into a chaotic fury, which led to their defeat and retreat.
Grand Admiral Thrawn later elaborated on this.
The PT Jedi Council acknowledge them as such during Jedi Council: Acts of War.
They acknowledge that the Hutts (in general) are immune or are highly resistant?
I can provide quotes for the other claims if you wish, but for this one, this was actually one of the claims that ACStyles didn't say I was lying about.
I would like that.
Obviously I can't prove indefinitely, but from what we know, her's is the most impressive.
Precisely. You can't support that claim, and no, hers isn't. Palpatine's - at the very, very least - rivals hers. And he has exhibited far more control than she has.
The bit about having more impressive feats? Refer to the paragraph above. In fact, I'd like to elaborate on her instantly stunning both Jolee and Juhani. PoD elaborates on how when directly affecting a force user with the force, you have to first overpower their force defence, and then apply the technique. Given that knowledge, it's pretty clear that instantly killing someone and instantly stunning someone pretty much requires the exact same power to pull off. Now given that people rate what Exar did to Odan Urr so highly (not saying you do), then they have to realise that this feat is much more impressive, as she affected not one but two force users, and she did it instantly, with no apparent effort either. This feat alone should put Bastilla in the same league as most of the SW powerhouses.
Prove that this applies with Battle Meditation. And, even if it does, Jolee and Juhani aren't Anakin Skywalker, my friend. Beating or overpowering them (even simultaneously) isn't a considerable feat, in my eyes.
Oh, I had a question for you all...and since this is only the social thread, I suppose it's alright to pose this in here...
A friend of mine said that Master Chief (a la Halo) could defeat Yoda in combat.
Arguments for Chief's victory:
-personal shield (both of the MJOLNIR suit and the Jackal shield, which is available to players in Halo 3)
-highly skilled with guns
Arguments for Yoda's victory:
-lightsaber
-The Force
-Nuff said.
Discuss.
