Haven't read a Star Wars book since Fate of the Jedi ended. What book series should I start to pick up that same storyline where it left off?

I don't think there are any books after the Fate of the Jedi books in terms of continuity. Other than the Legacy comics obvs.

sweet, i took just the correct hiatus if the next one doesn't come out for a few more weeks. I hate troy denning though. he has no ability to write a fight scene. he talks more about how everyone feels while they fight. Hewhoknewnothing wrote better fight scenes than denning.

Darth Plagueis was the last quality EU release. For the most part, I'm no fan of Denning either (loved his Chessmaster Luke in LOTF though). And Crucible sounds terrible.

I'd recommend Knight Errant. And non Star Wars wise, anything by KJ Parker.
