If you got the game on Steam, you can probably reverify the game files and fix it. If not on Steam or GOG.com, idk what to recommend other than searching for fixes. I've never had a game breaking bug nor has anyone else I know, but we all got it on steam sale for like four bucks.
Also, zombies are never overdone. They're either tastefully done or poorly utilized.

I got it on steam and tried everything to get it to work. I tired that and reinstalling it, and messing with the game code and deleting certain files and numerous other things people online suggested. Nothing. I'm not too bothered I guess.
Hrm, it was an interesting puzzle-oriented game similar to the point and clicks of the 90s, but it wasn't too ground-breaking. I never beat it, becoming instead distracted with everything else on my game library. Stupid summer sales just make the indecision worse.

Thats a little different since there are many ways to tell a ghost story. Zombie stuff all has the exact same goddamn plot.Zombie outbreak, society collapses, survivors struggle to survive, humans are dicks, guy is bit - gets put down, horrible wasteland society, rinse and repeat.
