28 Days Later is the best zombie-esque movie IMO, and I've watched all the Romero movies, Return of the Dead movies, Resident Evil movies, and most of the Z-rated ones on Netflix.

Dave Filoni: At the end of the day, with Sidious, nobody was really going to be able to touch him. He had to be the strongest, most dangerous guy. And you could see at a certain point, he just puts his lightsabers away at the end of the fight and says, “I’m done with this,” and goes in and mauls Maul, so to speak.

Sidious can’t show up and have people walk out of the room. It’s just not gonna happen. As soon as he shows up, people are going to die, bad things are going to happen.

suggests that Filoni seems to think Sidious is beyond even Yoda.
So from his point of view the battering Sidious gave Maul/Opress wasn't because the Zabraks are some weak feebs that even Kenobi can solo. But only because Sidious is the most powerful being at that time.
That's the impession I'm getting from his statements anyway.
