Well no. Whedon is great, its just that Buffy from what I could tell was very poorly acted and awkward.

Whedon is not great, he is probably one of the smarmiest and most overrated writers ever.

And Buffy's early seasons was poorly acted Temp, with the obvious exception of Anthony Stewart-Head.

Boreanaz came into his own on season 2, but in season 1 he was wooden as ****.

Geller took far longer to come into her own. Willow I've always liked, but I think Hannigan only really started to shine in season 3.
