So I spent pretty much the entire day playing ACIII and here are some thoughts:
1. The American Revolution is the stupidest revolution in history. This is ****ing retarded.
2. Are they purposefully making all the 'good guys' in this game either stupid, incompetent or psychotic? I recruit a guy into the Assassins whose response to someone stealing his stuff (we never learn who actually stole it) is the storm around town killing every British soldier he sees. Wtf? Then he and Connor killl some completely innocent person who was just pissed about his tea being destroyed. On and the same guy (and Connor!) murdered a bunch of soldiers just for evicting him. Connor definitely seems weirdly violent in his response to relatively minor things.
3. I wish I was still playing as Haytham.
4. American's suck.
5. This game is definitely worse than the previous games. Basic incompetent design, glitches and bugs in the interface, sidequests that have ****-all reward, etc etc.
6. Why are all the good weapons really cheap, and the bad ones ridiculously expensive? 😬
7. Naval combat is awesome.
Nephthys is just assmad that we crushed the Brit's tiny peckers under our boots.

I thought it was hilarious.
It was ****ing stupid. It rendered Angelus, the "worst vampire on record" to a joke in the backstory, was an inane and irrelevant story right before the climax of the series (It would be like someone throwing a pie at Russel Crowe's face as he lies dying in Gladiator), and it was just mad ghey.
Dat finale though.
Hamilton is a badass.
Spoiler:
I wish he killed Angel.

Its not that. I'm relatively unpatriotic. Its just that it all seems like a assload of senseless violence. They're pissed off about not having a representative in parliament and that they actually have to pay taxes? So they murder hundreds of people? Thats so silly.

We didn't actually want a representative in Parliament; we'd just get outvoted all the time. And I think it is significant to note that it wasn't a universal desire to split from the established government but rather a really complicated social dynamic between the separatists and Coalition of 2000. There were heroes and villains on both sides and the Jedi caught in the middle-- wait. Who was I talking about again?

If by 'complained' you mean 'had a boring native american murder 15 people, then like 60 more while they dumped thousands of pounds worth of tea into the ocean purely as a middle finger to Britain' then I would say killing them right back is perfectly justifiable.Templar 4 lyfe!
