So in the new Yoda arc:

Spoiler:
Yoda confronts an illusion/spirit of Bane (who looks entirely different than he should BTW) and utterly stomps him. He also tools some other spirits that create a monster that look sorta like the corrupted boar god from Princess Mononoke.

Meh. Illusion/spirit.

As amusing as it is to picture you fuming about this development, you should know that they didn't fight at all.

I didn't fume at all.

Plus Bane is hardly my main man these days.

I'm starting the final arc proper. Ares, what did you think of the whole thing?

I enjoyed it quite a bit. Definitely one of my favorite arcs.

Your fuming was obvious, even across time, space, and the Atlantic ocean. 😐

You're kind of a Sith whore.

Anyway, all he did was

Spoiler:
monologue and attempt to intimidate Yoda, who simply told him he wasn't afraid. Deprived of the element of fear and intimidation, Bane's illusion is banished back to his sarcophagus.

I watched 'Sacrifice' this morning after you posted the link just to see the nature of the fight between Yoda and

Spoiler:
Sidious
. I went back this morning and started from the beginning.

The Order 66 arc was superb; Clovis was good and Bardotta was decent.

Just finished "The Lost One" and it was pretty damn good: interesting developments with

Spoiler:
the Jedi now knowing about the Dooku-Tyranus connection
, but my favorite part was obviously
Spoiler:
Sidious choking the shit out of "the clumsy" Darth Tyranus
.

I'm so mad, man. Just ****ing furious. This is mah fumin' face check it. 😐

Theres no shame in being open with your affections and enjoying the company of powerful and psychotic men and women.

Sounds lame.

Where's the link?

Where's the link?

It was a Netflix link. If you have Netflix, just look it up.

I don't, but I'll watch it soon.

Was it a good fight?

Wow, S6 is amazing, it's a shame they cancelled TCW...

Not as standout as the one in Shades of Reason or The Lawless, but pretty good. Are you wanting spoilers?

Yes, spoil it, please.

Also, any reason why Yoda couldn't tell it was Palpatine?

Yes, spoil me , please.

Spoiler:
Yoda is sent on a vision quest by the spirit of Qui-Gon Jinn. In the first episode of the arc, he travels to Dagobah and experiences visions of Order 66 and Darth Sidious in the cave. I'm watching the second episode now.

The third and final episode, 'Sacrifice', has Yoda going to KorribanMoraband, the Sith homeworld. The shades of the Sith Lords past confront Yoda, who disperses them with the Force and his courage. They threaten to inform Sidious and Dooku of his presence (and they do). Sidious orders Dooku to go to Coruscant. There, they participate in a Sith ritual to psychically assault Yoda from afar.

That's where they duke it out.

Spoiler:
The hood stays up. And the projection of Sidious vanishes before Yoda can identify him.

Better yet, here you go: http://starwars.com/explore/the-clone-wars/

The synoptic slideshows are available for all the episodes.

Oh, so it wasn't the real Sidious?

Thanks.

Spoiler:
It was a projection of him conjured by the real thing.

Looks like the Sidious projection won?

Looks like Dooku left the ritual to face Anakin, So I'm assuming that wasn't a projection of Dooku that fights Anakin?

Spoiler:
Another stalemate, though he does briefly fend off both Anakin and Yoda.

Spoiler:
The implication is that only Sidious and Yoda are projections: i.e. psychic manifestations of the real, physical people. Dooku and Anakin are part of Sidious's illusion.

The Yoda arc seems to delve deeper into the mystery of the force than the Mortis arc. I wonder if the planet Yoda visited was Mortis? In the description of the slide show, it states that it's the world where midi-chlorians originated, and that those energy beams of the planet spread throughout the galaxy. If it's not Mortis, I wonder which planet is the stronger force nexus.

Also, the Syfo Dias part of Sidious' ritual seemed creepy, especially transforming into a cackling Sidious. I wonder how it looked on video.
