Not sure if you're being facetious. Millennials are ****ing stupid and I blame the parents for that. Yes, everyone gets a trophy(I've seen it), so entitlement issues arrive.

Meh, every past generation thought they were awesome too.

I thought my generation didn't think we were awesome. We never got to that point of entitlement.

You don't think Gen X had (and has) its head up its ass? lawl, no.

Not to today's level. I think every generation is worse than the previous one. I respect the hell out of the baby boomers.

I can't wait until they all die the **** off, personally. Baby-boomers are the generational equivalent to pure capitalism. They did a great job at setting up the system to benefit themselves... and ****ing the rest of us in the process. 👆

Actually, you probably don't remember the system that existed before that (aside from the gold standard). The baby boomers were responsible for the greatest economic expansion in world history. We have never nor will ever achieve that much success again. They didn't set up themselves, they set up the system so that my parents and grandparents and myself, immigrants, can have a shot at the dream. I'd rather the hippies and the millennials die off.

Right, good for them. Meanwhile, when the last baby boomer dies he'll be leaving behind a ****ed up global economy, an empty social security well and a ****ed up planet ecosystem for my generation to deal with. And he'll be too dead to care.

Why does Ant hate you Tzeentch?

I didn't call.

If I recall correctly, it was the newer generations that changed our economy from production based to consumption based, and it was the American public's fault for living beyond their means. Learn to place blame correctly. I'd rather have the hippies and milliennials die out so the collective stupidity gets reduced.

Looks freaking epic. The X-Men line of the Marvel Universe is easily its most (and arguably only, with the exception of a few things like Daredevil) interesting line. Marvel Cinematic Universe should take notes.

Dave, gen (Y) is still in its relative infancy, just now hitting the late 20's to 30. Gen (X) is just starting to hit their 50's. Only the leading Gen X's are old enough to have enough income to contribute a lot to America's consumer mentality, and even then they've only been able to do that for the last ~ten years. Millennials haven't been doing dumb ass shit like buying two houses on credit while working as a janitor, or spending exorbitant amounts of money on Escalades and Hummers. Gen Y isn't old enough to be the head of major corporations and make dumb decisions like "lul, let's send all our work overseas".

The United States' decline has been in the works since the early 70's, and you can't blame ten year old Gen X's for that. The baby-boomers have been holding the reigns to our country for the past four decades, bro, and aside from their 50's "golden age" they've been doing a terrible job.

50s through early 70s. So if you want to blame them for docking things up then credit them for the most economic prosperity in history.

Sure, credit where credit is due is all well and good. But I don't give them credit for kicking ass if they did so in an unsustainable way that's ****ed us for the next two generations.

They didn't **** us, they did something poorly and we helped them out by cooperating freely and spending beyond our means.

Who's "we'? The first quarter of Gen X to come out of the oven, and... pretty much no one else. lol

Baby-Boomers have contributed more to American consumerism than anyone else, because they've had all the money, political power and corporate influence up until the 2000's (they still own the lion's share, actually, but as they die off or retire Gen X is beginning to take over).

Nobody else has proven any kind of competence level so I'd trust the group that brought us unparalleled economic prosperity over the "look at me" generation. Also the blame you're placing is the equivalent of me calling the creators of Jersey Shore "****ing morons", instead of the dumbasses who watched that show, and justified its continued existence.

Blax is astute here. Boomers strangled the goose that layed the golden egg and now Gen Xers are helping hide the body. The rest of us have inherited a legacy of economic debt, unsustainability, and instability. Boomers and X could retire after thirty years of working in the same place, with minimal education and lots of material possessions. They left no such opportunities for us and they man the government and boardrooms en masse.
