Bette Midler does my wrestling intro music.

My favorite workout songs are "It's raining men" and "Hungry Eyes".

Nope, doing reps for jesus.

Big news for the EU; here's to hoping the new stuff is much better in terms of quality.

oh no

Does this mean everything pre-RotJ could be safe?

Also, if they maybe had at least 1, say, comic series that was labelled an infinity (with respect to the new canon) but continued the old canon, I'd be fine with that. Similar to The Star Wars. Obviously the majority of new material will be based on the new canon, but a single comic book series continuing the old wouldn't be too much to ask for.

So Tarkin's getting his own book, by James Luceno. Funny how a book about a relatively minor film character is going to almost certainly be better than the one about Revan.

Not that funny. It was obvious that any book about Revan would be written by Drew, since he was the writer for Kotor. Since Luceno is the superior novelist though, the assignments he gets will likely turn out to be better than any book Karpyshan writes.

No one cares about Tarkin though.

Yeah, it's a goofy-as-shit premise. But Tarkin's such a badass and Vader's apparently going to play a huge role, so we'll see where this goes.

True. Boring *******. Oh no, he's going to British at people! The horror!

Vader

I like the sound of that.

I expect it will sell at least as well as Revan. Sad as it is, the fact of the matter is that films always trump the EU in terms of interest and recognition. Even when it's obscure film-centric stuff (Tarkin) and major EU stuff (Revan).

Revan is probably the most famous pure EU character, thanks to his huge fanbase from KotOR.

Luceno did a good job on Vader in RODV, expecting nothing less than that.

Also, it would be neat if there was a site with sales numbers for all SW novels released. I've only found this so far.
