As much as I like ME as a series, and I really do, KoTOR will always be my favorite, followed very closely by Jade Empire.

I f*cking love me some Jade Empire.

I think the Citadel and Ilos were just as cool as the Star Forge and Manaan and Wrex is as cool as HK. As for the story, I disagree. The Reaper twist is just as cool as the Revan twist imo.

Honestly it's been a while since I played the game but I don't really recall there being this great twist in the first game, if it's the first game you're talking about. What was so great about the Citadel, compared to the Star Forge and the menace it presented in being able to provide a seemingly unlimited fleet? That it was this secret Mass Relay?

With Manaan, and the Selkath, I was talking more about the general look and feel of it, and I thought visually they were very well designed.

Nah, HK was far more unique and better designed than Wrex, and I would also say that Canderous was a far more interesting character as well. Wrex is overrated.

Yeah, it wasn’t until ME2 that we got interesting characters.

Wrex is my krant, *****. Step off.

And agreed on ME1. While it's inventory and equipment system was godawful, and the skills for weapons proficiency lame, the novelty of the setting, the sense of scale, the ability to explore and learn was amazing. ME1 eased you into an immense setting, while ME2 and 3 improved on graphics, game mechanics, and pathos. But if the first game hadn't gotten us invested, the latter two wouldn't be as remarkable.

Also, I played the shit out of ME3 multiplayer.

I just got out of the 2nd level after meeting with the council and I have like 4 different planets I can go to. That's amazing.

What the blue hell? Did Lieutenant Cortez just say he had a husband? This is a very uh progressive game

You DO realize that was sarcasm specifically used to obtain a reaction from you, right?

Ownage and your completely and emotionally overblown comments aside (somehow I'm a homophobe because I've never played a video game that explored same sex relationships, lol), it's just unexpected.

Its probably not as good of a "twist", but its still ****ing awesome. That conversation with Sovereign was so damn cool. The unknowable horror of the Reapers matches the shock value of being Revan, easily.

Well for a start the Citadel is just better designed than the Star Forge, which was kind of just a bunch of plain corridors until the room you find Bastila in. Then theres the fact that at the end of the game you have to fight on the side of the Citadel, which was really neat in terms of design. Also the whole mystery aspect with the Keepers and stuff.

HK is funnier than Wrex, not better designed. Also Wrex and Canderous are very similar, except that Wrex is an awesome alien.

Pretty much every Bioware game ever has had gays in it.

Hell, Jade Empire let you have a threesome relationship.

Jade Empire was nice like that.

I wish they'd have stuck with the Dark Energy stuff instead of what they decided to do in ME3. Hell, Indoctrination theory was way better than what they did.

And in Dragon Age II, every love interest was bisexual.

Bioware loves inclusiveness.

SWTOR was the only bioware game I played so I didn't know. Still, Janus' predictable reaction was amusing.

I just assumed you were surprised because you were touching yourself before you were aware of the horrific implications.

That's ok Janus, sometimes I really enjoy seeing if I can get a rise out of you.

Strongly disagree. The Reaper “twist” was one of the dullest most anti-climatic twists I have ever played, it wasn’t bad but I don’t even know if I would call it a twist. And the Repears really weren’t all that interesting. They were nothing more than badly done Lovecraftian horrors.

Huh, thats the first time I've seen this opinion.
