Surely if you take away the guns, you take away the possibility of shootings?

I mean sure, you'll probably get stabbings, like us Brits, but probably less deaths all around! But I suppose if it's in your constitution thing it'd be a pretty big thing to just up and cut it out.

Man, America is confusing.

Surely if you take away the guns, you take away the possibility of shootings?

Eminence, how do you feel about the magnificent Tywin Lannister?

Favorite character. Charles Dance and the writers - benefiting from the show's narrative structure - added layers to him that I didn't feel were present in the books without compromising his [almost, see:Tyrion] absolute pragmatism one bit. It was actually in Season 2 that I realized how much I liked him:
Spoiler:
in his pursuit of the Brotherhood after the attempt on his life, he orders Gregor Clegane to "burn the villages, burn the farms. Let them know what it means to choose the wrong side."
And instead of going "not the innocents!" I was like "mhm, mhm, very good."

I can say this about several characters, sure, I'm riveted in his every scene. Standouts might be

Spoiler:
the exchange with Olenna Tyrell concerning the future of Ser Loras, and the entire set of scenes with Arya,
but they're all great.

It's incredible how many renditions of "The Rains of Castamere" there are, and how amazing every single one is.

Tempest, how far are you in the series? I wasn't thinking about it before, but I want to minimize spoilers.

I hate Tywin personally.

Mike Thorton, best protagonist.

Of course the real Thorton will always be Hobo Thorton:

Yes, I'm still gushing about this game.

Your opinion is wrong. Tywin Lannister is badass given live form.

I hate Tywin personally.

Of course you do. Is this because you don't like what he does, or do you not think he's a good character? The former is acceptable for one with the soft heart of a woman.

I hate him half because he's such a c unt to Tyrion and half because he does terrible things like having Tyrion's wife raped by 2 dozen guys and then forcing Tyrion to participate too and getting the Mountain to rape and murder innocents.

Modern Family is the best show on tv.

Only because Hannibal finished a week ago, I'm sure.

Rather than hate the guys who willingly obeyed? Lol.

I hate them too bro. Plus what do you think Tywin would have done if those guards had tried to disobey? ****ing kill them, that's what.

Solo? So he is a badass.

Show Lord Tywin>>>>>>Book Lord Tywin.

Yeah, a good reason why I hate him is because he's sooo much more of a dick in the books. We only see him through Tyrion and Tywin constantly shits on Tyrion.

To be fair, if the show is any consolation Tyrion seems to be a complete gary stu ******* and garbage character.
