I assume it was all the racism and homophobic shit.

Figures.

Damn Nai Germany is getting blitzed.

Didn't expect such a thrilling game, after the one versus Portugal. Germany made some rather stupid mistakes in the defense / midfield, though. I hope that Loew manages to correct those before the match against the USA.

At least Klose managed to get the World Cup scorer record. 😉

I was surprised to see that Ghana was physically superior to Germany but I think Germany came into this game the same way Ghana came into the game with the US. Didn't take them seriously.

Well. Ghana did win the under 21 years World Cup in 2009 and a lot of the players involved are currently playing in their team. So I thought they were rather good. Yet not good enough to cause that much trouble to the German team, after their performance versus Portugal.

But then, they didn't manage to get the midfield under control the same way they did in the last game. Lahm played one of his worst matches ever (with a stupid mistake from him leading to the 1:2) and both build up play and defense pretty much sucked in the second half. When Schweinsteiger came, he played the first changeover pass in 30 minutes, where the German attackers attempted the worst possible way to overcome Ghana's defense before.

If Germany gets back to the Portugal-game form, they can probably make it rather far in the cup, given that most of the "favourites" (lol @ Spain) are already out.

Nai, I want quan to be given the Ned Stark treatment. Instead, you link me to an old debate the two of you had? I want this shit in real time, bro.

Do not fail me.

They were incredibly undisciplined in the back.

I was surprised Germany was so mediocre in the middle. Klose was at the right place and time for that goal.

I fully expect Germany and Netherlands in the final. I also expect Germany to crush the US because it's essentially a must win game.

Ghana really seemed like they were enjoying the game. I love watching the African nations. They go absolutely apesh!t for a game of football, like the South American nations. I think it's awesome.

Bloody amazing job from Iran today, even though they lost. They were actually doing a good job of putting serious pressure on those Argentinians.

African Nations have the physical superiority, but they lack technical skill, organization and mental toughness.

And yea you know you're a diehard soccer fan when you're at some point cheering for Germany and Iran. Iran really played their hearts out but goddamn, Messi is clutch.

Without context, this is terrible yet hilarious.

I write like Mario Puzo, apparently. mmm

That's the same site that consistently says I write like James Joyce.

I don't think it's accurate.

I've gotten Dan Brown and James Joyce. Feel first like I should be insulted, then that I have a huge chip on my shoulder and should **** off.
