Lol I love tutoring stats. What year are you in?

Junior in high-school. I don't have a problem with the difficulty of it, just the vast amount of work I get from that class added to the vast amount of work I get from my other classes.

Basically the homework is tedious.

This is what the NBA is missing.

Talk about Team USA tearing it up, though. Even with such a young team and without greats like Lebron/Durant/Kobe/Carmelo/Love, they're still looking prety damn good.

Wait until they play someone with skill.

Guess I'll be waiting a long time then.

Well, AP Stats (or the IB equivalent, probably) is the best approximation of (intro) college math that you're going to get. AP Calc was oversimplified, I think. You should definitely take that AP test if you can because after seeing the material in HS you would be bored out of your mind in college.

My Stats class is both AP and Dual Credit... its weird. I'm also taking Pre-AP PreCal, and intend to take AP Calculus next year.

Take the BC calc test if it is offered! That is closer to the pace of an actual college class and will be a good introduction 🙂

👆

Plus it's incredibly nice not having to take Calc 1 or 2 in college. Saves a ton of time and money.

Another good one is AP Physics, or so I've heard, simply because it's so much easier than the actual class in college. Best decision I ever made.

It depends. The AP physics I took was pretty much useless to me. It was algebra based and I ended up needing to take a calc based one for my ME degree. Still, it made the first half of the class far easier.

Newsflash. Most of the college classes you take will be useless to you.

While that may be true for some classes or general requirements, not a single math class I've taken has been useless. Maybe you had the wrong major?

Turns out that Steven Sotloff was also an Israeli citizen. I think this justifies Israel to send in ground troops to destroy IS.

This is mostly for Nemebro, Blax, and Nepth but if anyone has input feel free to give it.

So linework of some martial artist twins for my stuff. Thoughts?
out of all the aspects of millennial-bashing, i think the one that most confuses me is the “millennials all got trophies as a kid, so now they’re all self-centered narcissists” theory

like— kids are pretty smart, y’all. they can see that every kid on the team gets a trophy and is told they did a good job; they can also see that not every kid on the team deserves a trophy, and not everyone did do a good job

the logical conclusion to draw from this is not “i’m great and i deserve praise”— it’s “no matter how mediocre i am, people will still praise me to make me feel better, so i can’t trust any compliments or accolades i receive”

this is not a recipe for overconfidence and narcissism. it is a recipe for constant self-guessing, low self-esteem, and a distrust of one’s own abilities and skills.

where did this whole “ugh millennials think their so-so work is super great” thing even come from it is a goddamn mystery

what ****ing kills me is, yeah, maybe we got the trophies, but who gave them out
Very professional, high-quality stuff. No technical issues that I can see. And I like the designs. They fit with your aesthetic while being distinct. I like the shoulder pads a lot too. s

Martial artists (or anyone fighting) in high heels is a pet peeve of mine though.

As opposed to what? Not giving trophies, congratulating for participation because nobody is better than anyone else?
