I seem to accuse you of that same thing. It's nice to know you like to flip insults back on me without any basis lol. Also, looks like the only one upset is the one desperately trying to prove he's right here🙂
Toughen up a little kid.

Seeing as how I seem to have no emotional stake in how people view california and you seem to be hell bent on correcting me where corrections aren't necessary, looks like you have some emotional instability issues you need to address. 😆

Also, correcting you? I brought evidence that California is one of the "dumbest" states in America. Is your memory so short, or are you just so emotionally distraught right now that you can't think clearly? 🙂

So I've started reading Dark Rendezvous (about nine years after it first popped up on my radar). Quite good so far, sucks that it's the author's only contribution to the literature.
edit: Actually, I think that's pretty typical of the publishing at the time. Lots of one-time contributors, very few/none particularly memorable. +2 Stover though.

Glad to hear it. By my estimation, it's far and away the best EU novel of any era.

Far and away is a bit much. It's not THAT good.
It's by no means perfect, but it really is that good. Of course you can interpret that as less an endorsement for the book and more an indictment for Star Wars EU in general.
Stewart's prose, dialogue, and characterization are ahead of everybody's.
Originally posted by The_TempestI might read it soon. Been looking for more trashy SF to read and don't feel like going back to Warhammer 40,000 just yet.
