Like a specific business or business in general? What sets the entrepreneurs apart from the 99% of the 9-5ers, do not be afraid to mistakes. The main difference between a successful business and a failed one is the successful business owner made mistakes, learned from his mistakes, then made more mistakes, until he got it right. It's definitely not for everyone, especially when a 9-5 sounds a lot more consistent and safe. I just hate people and love working in my boxers so I made it work.
I never read any business books, I just slowly got into a business a decade ago, then another one, and another one. When you get into one business, you meet like minded individuals trying to achieve the same thing, which is financial success with unlimited flexibility.

The only thing I will say this, I am lucky enough to have incredible, hard working parents and grand parents that gave me the time and flexibility to pursue something outside of the ordinary. Someone in a less fortunate position wouldn't have been as flexible.
