Wow, nobody's ever made a comparison of Cuba like that. That's..Disturbing. It's not about being an alpha male (although Dom is the epitome of that). You're saying we gain nothing from continuing to sanction them. I say we gain nothing by easing the sanctions. I think it makes more sense to wait until Castro goes. Fighting isn't always the option but "letting it go" isn't either.

I think my position is even a little simpler than what you wrote.
Look at the costs of another year of economic sanctions on Cuba, which I'm listing without doing any additional research or thought:
