No. If she went like "Well, maybe I WILL die.", and got an abortion, Anakin might go a little more emo, but he wouldn't have joined the dark side. There would be no evil empire in the first place. So, yes, abortion could have saved millions of life in Star Wars.

Your mom fits in better with someone shes not related to, but I'm sure you and her are getting on fine.
Brilliant.
How about you disprove it. I don't have to prove it is a baby, you pro-choicers have to prove it ISN'T.
I don't have to prove anything you jackass. You made the claim in this debate that the baby feels pain, thus the burden of proof is on you.
how do you know you don't feel pain?
so why don't we find a way to kill the mother and save the baby? I'm sure that will solve all of our problems.
Tangible's right... this is a terrible response.
edit-
Meh. This has been discussed through hell and back already, apparently.
arguments were provided by both of us: no point in trying to ram something down someone's throat who denies the obvious reason of the arguments. Thats what is curious to me. Rational beings can see one issue in two lights that are so drastically different that opposite solutions seem to be the only possible conclusion.
The logic being used by most of the people who were arguing with me seemed absolutely absurd to me. Ignore the right of the baby in order to protect the rights of the mother? sounds insane.
Apparently the opposite of that sounds insane to them. I don't think any of them are stupid, so apparently there is something that makes us interpret it differently. If the best reason you can come back with is an insult, don't waste your time.

It's your perogative to think so, I guess. I disagree.

What does any of this have to do with me?
I responded to his post, he said he was stopping because it was obvious that no one was going to change their views (which I agreed with), and I told him I think hsi ivews suck. You said you think mine do, I said yours do, mine are cool, and I added a light hearted joke to the end, than you tell me I'm copping out.
Nonsensical.
