Like I said in the TFA thread, it's fanart. But according to Collider movie talk accurate fanart. And Disney has since asked them to remove that.

Looks like too much spoilery talk here. Will come back to these threads after I've seen the film. Would really annoy me to find out anything else abut the movie a week before it's release.

Is it just me or do Snoke and Kylo strikingly resemble Plagueis and Revan? 😮‍💨

I'm glad you've said this. Just like Kylo isn't Revan, Snoke still might not be Plagueis.

Now I can avoid the boards and the web and go watch the movie next week pretending I don't know anything.

Kylo may look like Revan, but that Snoke picture is based solely on fanart of Plagueis, and the Kylo picture is based of a reddit user's cosplay. It's fanart of fanart.

If Snoke ends up being a former Sith in general I'd be disappointed frankly. Plagueis in particular would be a bad choice.

The people who are making the movie aren't overly fond of the Prequels which they've made abundantly clear, so I really doubt they'd make one of the main villains ****ing Plagueis of all people.

The only support for Snoke being Plagueis is rabid fans who don't know when to quit. Hell, "He had such a knowledge of the dark side, he could even keep debunked fan theories from dying." is straight up mockery. It's time to let it go.

Especially since he is tied to Midichlorians.

Yet, in that case, I'm unsure why Disney would ask Collider to take down their video.

Plagueis being the new big bad is a notion that's been around practically since TFA was first announced. I've always been ambivalent about the idea.

That said, I've done pretty well in keeping myself relatively spoiler free for TFA so Imma try to keep it up.
