I'd laugh, but I'm not sure if she's serious or not. I'm really concerned for the mental health of people who can say something like that. She might be in trouble. We, as a community, should rally for her so she gets the help she needs.

The idea of star wars having racial undertones is nothing new, from the lack of diversity in ANH to lando being a token black guy in ESB to jar jar being a spoof on slaves, the theories have been around for as long as the films themselves. She just happend to make herself a house hold name with it and probably increased her ratings dramatically.

But she would hardly be the first person to make a butt load of money and fame by saying controversial and dumb as hell comments that the majority of people disagree with. And in a business like entertainment where controversy usually equals high ratings and ratings equal money, this seems like a fairly smart move on her part.
