Spoiler:
Likely, but considering she's a huge supporter of the Alliance and is seen as their de-facto leader, more so than Mothma, it's likely she's a retired general in the republic with some sway and is helping and also funding The Resistance with war Vets and such.
Spoiler:
One of the few bad things but honestly the most disappointing one for me was Kylo Ren's interpreter and his attitude and lines towards the end of the movie. He was this badass dark sider right until he removed his helmet. My reaction was like...'Ok, you're not scary anymore.' I don't like this actor for this role, at all. Imo he's not nearly as villainous as he should be. He doesn't give me the feeling that he's someone to be feared and to be respected. Terrible casting for Kylo. It's such a shame.
I hope he appears much more evil and badass in the next movie, with his new huge scar and all.

Yeah. There's no such thing as a "truly bad guy" face. People aren't born with relative morality in their looks.
Mate, why is it so difficult to understand I didn't like this actor as Kylo Ren?
He doesn't pull off the bad guy role for me. That's it.
And I think there is. I mean, of course there isn't a face that is inherently good or evil, but fact is there are actors whose face features work or don't work efficiently for specific roles. A baby-faced guy probably wouldn't be the best option for the role of a badass, for example.
Why is it so difficult for you to understand Kylo Ren is a person first and your idea of a bad guy second? He wasn't cast to be your mustache twirling, child killing, slave driver. He was cast to be a conflicted man who struggles with two cosmic forces that drive the universe. The entire point was form him to look normal, not evil.
