I dunno about you, but that's what I'd do.

Better written than TFA.
As a Prequel supporter and someone who was disappointed in TFA, I'll give props where it's deserved. The dialogue was much better written in TFA. The overall performance of the main characters was also much better.
It's the Unoriginal Plot and complete lack of imagination that let me down for TFA.
That's why I said, if they used Lucas's story and ideas, but had Abrams directing with Abrams and Kasdan writing the script, then that could have been a Truly Epic movie Imo.

Agreed 100%. I still love TFA though. But as I said if Lucas had a better editor/ cowriter the prequels would be legendary.

I'm hoping the Episode 8 will have a better and more original plot.
One thing I really liked about TFA was how both Finn and Rey are introduced silently and without dialogue. We see Finn as a faceless Stormtrooper and follow him through his first battle. Without him saying jack shit we see exactly why he defects from the First Order and become very sympathetic towards him. We see who Rey is and her shitty situation just by watching her go about her daily life.
By contrast in TPM we're introduced to Obi-Wan whining about a bad feeling and to Anakin spouting off terrible pick up lines. And in AotC to Anakin and Obi-Wan talking about what great friends they are. Remember that time when they did the friend thing together? That was great.

Femshep for life boo!
ME2 is my all time favorite, but ME3 had on the verge of tears.
Too much daddy issues in ME2, it had great start and end, great characters, but the story wasn't very good.
Nice to meet another fan!
