They also had the recording of the Trade Federation attacking their ship, two Jedi as witnesses who had an assassination attempt on them in spite of being the Chancellors personal delegates. Not to mention the fact that the Jedi had the crew of their vessels destroyed.

And are you seriously going to tell me that no one thought to photograph the droid invasion? Of all those soldiers and escorts no one could simply take a video of the fleet of invasion vessels touching down outside the capital city?

Where would they have time among the chaos? Sure there's an issue, but given that they were all thrown around, I'm not sure there was much time to take videos or photos. Or even if they have such devices to begin with on their persons to even take such things.

Still there is something there sure.

Dude...countless World War II photographers took photos of the Nazi invasions and you're telling me the Royal Palace had no one with a camera? Shit Padme even slowly watching the invasion here:

YouTube video

15:00

No one in the palace had a camera or holorecorder? And as I said there's video recording of the droids being destroyed by laser canon fire 18:50.

And who is going to question the word of two Jedi dispatched specifically by the Chancellor to negotiate. No one asked "Hey where are the Republic officers that went with the Jedi?"

It's almost like the prequels were poorly written or something.

Lucas disagrees.

u guys didn't like it?

y'all need jesus

that was great.

Some of us liked the prequels. Liking them more than TFA, except for again AotC, does not mean you didn't like TFA.

huh. that is a surprising thing to hear, although I guess there's always been a pro-prequel bent to the board because of Gideon's Palpatine wank. ( heart )

I think that episode 4-7 feels a lot more like a unified franchise than 1-4.

Yeah, I think the general writing of the prequels (overarching story) is far more interesting than any of the other movies. The acting and direction in TFA is vastly superior though. If Lucas just had a better editor and a different director (not himself) would have been a vastly superior film.

Not to derail u, but the fam had an important question:

Has anybody been stabbed (on film) by a lightsaber where the lightsaber was pressed against their body and then turned on?

I'm drawing a blank but it has got to exist somewhere in the prequels...

edit:
maybe Anakin uses that trick against some1 in the jedi temple??
