You're welcome.

Gideon doesn't care about women. *apathy*

My English teacher once told me that.

That women are resources, or that you don't care about them?

That I don't care about them. "Objectify them" were here words.

LOL.

LOL.

Yeah. But I'm a compulsive flirt. I jokingly told this same teacher, Mrs. Rice (you should ask Dragon Bard -- she's fine as all get out) that by this time next year, I'd be legal and she and I could run off to Montana.

She signed my yearbook and ended the paragraph with "Montana is waiting..."

That was LOL inducing.

She might've been serious, though. Haha.

Why Montana?

There was a teacher who ran off with an eighth grader in Lincoln. They got to Mexico. (I'm not sure about the age.) The story still makes me laugh.

Animal Rights:
The "animal rights" issue is a difficult one for me. Scientific objectivity demands a clear look at a situation that I feel deeply connected to. I'm concerned about the welfare of our planet's wildlife, but at the same time I recognize that animal testing leads to tangible, real advances in the human standard of living. Clearly there must be a middle ground between PETA and poachers. Finding it is a challenge because I have a tendency to make blanket statements and generalizations that are always (🙂) broken by circumstance and exceptions. The only stable position I have found is that scientific testing, if monitored and kept to strict guidelines that ensure humane treatment of animals, is okay. Hunting for sport/pleasure is not. Farming, (Google: "The Meatrix"😉 is borderline: I dislike hunting but recognize the need for meat/animal products. I see it as a necessary evil. I am offended by fur, and I find leather to be gross.

Also, the concept "humans are higher life forms" is so contrary to my worldview that I don't know where to begin to dispute it.

Re Read: sorry for the incoherent rant- it wasn't even amusingly angry. I'll think the next one through and give a better answer later.

Humans are superior life forms.

If a giant asteroid is about to hit Earth and destroy all life, it will be Bruce Willis, a human, who will save the day. Not some ****ing tiger.

Tell that to Tony.

I like his cereal.

No, it will be Chuck Norris, you idiot.

Spoiler:
Bruce Willis actually doesn't care about the environment.

Yeah, you're thinking of Bruce Lee. Bruce Lee is the answer we were looking for.

Chuck Norris wouldn't waste his time with such an insignificant threat, you dolt. Why involve Superman when Batman is strong enough?

You sure you don't have those reversed?

I'm assuming that in this scenario Batman's legs are broken and he has 0 prep time.

Still about 50/50, if he's got his trusty pocket-Batknife.
