Bane's singular, significant contribution is creating the Rule of Two and getting the hell out of the way for stronger, smarter, better men like Darth Sidious. Props to him.

The rest is deplorable. The Bane Trilogy is some of the worst-written tripe in the entire lore. Havac from TFN wrote a hilarious, scathing review of it. I need to find it and post it here for everyone's amusement.
