Seriously, it was pretty good, there is an author on TFN that I highly recommend you should look at, as well as Publius for obvious reasons.

I have read some of Publius's writings. I see Gideon bragging about him a lot, so i decided to take a look at his work, and i really liked his writings on Palpatine.

Publius is a god. LFL needs to hire him. Like, now.

If you ever get the chance, you should read YodaKenobi's stories in TFN's "beyond the saga forum," he currently has 6 (working on the 7th and a possible 8th) stories in the same AU that starts from the latter part of the Vong War and goes from there, it is really some of the best fan fiction I've read. I'm not saying he is of Publius's writing stature but he is still very good and better then most sw fan fiction writers that I've read.

Ew.

What's Publius like as a storyteller? I'll take you guys' word for it that he's the sh1t when it comes to writing otherwise you clearly wouldn't be as amazed as you are, but what's he like as a storyteller?

I haven't read anything of his that was based on an original work.

lol

The Silver Fox chronicles are phenomenal. Publius's original works eclipse his novelization for Dark Empire.

Bruce Timm/Paul Dini > Publius. Batman Beyond, and the DCAU as a whole, is staggeringly awesome. I watched the entire first season in one sitting. One of the best lines so far, from Terry to Bruce:

"I guess you're the expert on troubled kids. You collect them, right?"

I almost cried.

My favorite line actually comes in the movie Return of the Joker.

"It's true, Batsie! I know everything. And kind of like the kid who peeks at his Christmas presents, I must admit... sadly anti-climactic. Behind all the stern and batarangs was just a little boy in a playsuit, crying for mommy and daddy. It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic. Oh, what the heck, I'll laugh anyway. HA HA HA HA HA HA!"

Best Joker moment ever. At least in the animated thing.

That was an absurdly dark movie.

Personally, I hope that Timm gets something else off of the ground. I remember when, back in the day, Kids WB had the most ridiculously awesome line-up of Saturday morning cartoons imaginable. Pokemon, Batman, etc. Now, I look at what my little cousins and nephews watch, and it sickens me. SICKENS ME.

Also, real live-action television needs to ****ing get better already. I have high hopes for Lost, Supernatural, and House.

The only way I'll have Batman is in 'absurdly dark' mode. Complete with freaky kids laughing monotonously.

I remember the days of good cartoons, too. Justice League was my personal favorite. My brother's shows are just as sickening as everything. Trust me on this one. Cartoon Network blows big time.

I'm not really a TV type of guy, so I'm into all these live-action shows. Though I love Lost (despite the absurdity) and I find Supernatural to be awesome.

Speaking of which, d'you ever watch the Sopranos? That show is the absolute mother****ing shit.

I should, but I never have.

batman, animaniacs, and pinky and the brain for me.

as for live action, xena and hercules ftw.

oh yes, i am a 90's kid?
