Nah, usually these trailers are only from the first half of the season, and there's no way Maul is fighting Vader in the first half. That's a season finale type fight. The context of that gif is when Maul, Kanan and Ezra go to Dathomir(?) and start ****ing around with their holocrons and shit. I have no idea why Vader would suddenly be in the picture, because I'm pretty sure Vader isn't really around this season too much.

Ya doesn't seem like Vader would be around if at all, since they are bringing in Thrawn and having Maul now in the picture. Seems more like it'll probably be an amped Maul vs Kanan amped or amped Maul vs Kanan and Ezra, or amped Maul vs Kanan and Ezra both amped.

Or the weird green thing ends up killing Maul. /Shrug
