There were enough redeeming damsel-in-distress themes to contrast those few moments of confrontational behaviour. Also, it didn't feel like "you go gurlll" femcunt propaganda. These new movies do. For example, we're now suppose to believe that purple haired sensitivity trained humanities professors make great military leaders. We're also suppose to believe that women sacrifice their lives for people other than their biological children.
