The Battle Bar, Our Wretched Hive of Scum and Villainy

We're talking about crime? Oh, in that case people who resort to crime becuase of poverty aren't lazy, but smart. It would be more stable to get a job, but if that's not enough to protect yourself and your family, resorting to crime may be the only logical thing to do. 'Exceptional times call for exceptional methods' as Ozymandias would say (or something similar).

P.S. Watched the episode of Southpark about 'The Coon', rofl. Obvious Batman and Watchmen influence. It was great. Anything where Cartman violently assaults some random guy (with claws) is awesome in my books.

I don't think that's always true, but yes, the need for survival is certainly a cause in why some of the poor choose crime as a way of life. I can't buy that the poor who commit crime do so because they cannot survive in an alternative manner; but it is certainly one of the leading causes.

Double post.

I loved that episode, the music is part of what made The Dark Knight so good. I think the queef episode is pretty disturbing, although I liked the road warrior. That was so random.

Nope, man was created with flaws and human nature. We could never be perfect but we can get damn close to it.

Humans are NOT inherently good
You think human beings can see reason and are inherently good, while I don't.

I went from pg 250-312 and these are the most telling examples- I can't be bothered to go through another 50 pages for another few quotes. If you don't think that humans are inherently good then what do you think?

On a related note, would you understand me if I said "I know how you can be saved."?

... Jesus?

No, no, no. I was never Faunus' *****. In fact, I pretended to be, but I arranged a coup against his absolutely silly rule, which resulted in him being banned most unceremoniously.

I ended up being the master after all. Btw, who are you?

Faunus, here we have proof that you lost all semblence of power a long time ago. Yield.

Aren't you the one always saying poor people commit crimes because it's their survival instincts? Make up your mind.

You claimed that I stated humans are fundamentally flawed. None of that shows as much. Humans are neither inherently good or bad, but it's easier to make the wrong decision.

gotcha:

not good, but not not good.

I'll explain after UNC wins the National Title.

1.) Fair. Valerian's weak. He never did much anyway.

The rest, as mattatom so gloriously demonstrated, are mine.

2.) Biatch plz. He was referring to NebarisFaunus; hence, "who are you?" [Vengeful Koala/ME].

You're done. Go home.
