Knightfall, i'm afraid you are banging your head against a brick wall though. I've noticed that Obama apoligists have an excuse for everything that HE does, and it generally goes something like "Well, bush did it WORSE!!!"
Which is funny, because if Bush was the worst president we've ever had( like they will try to claim) Excusing Obama's actions with Bush's is truly hilarious, since they are now saying he is almost as bad as the worst President ever.
Common sense is missing.
oh, and another great use of OUR money:

This is the common double standard used for Obama enthusiasts. If he succeeds, it's because he's awesome. If he fails, it's because Bush dug us into this hole.
The truth is, Obama knows next to nothing about Economics, as shown by his actions, and his little pet project Bernanke knows even less. When people were calling Ron Paul a psycho, I was reading about his policies and this guy definitely knows what he's talking about. Voting for RP for 2012. Guy's smart as hell and has the ability to bring the country out of recession and is also planning to reinstitute the Gold Standard while getting rid of the FED and IRS.

In retaliation for how badly the latter owns its ass. 😐
Star Ocean: Till the End of Time is hands down the best RPG ever made, and anally rapes any western RPG out there. The level of depth -- collectively -- of both its storyline and gameplay is completely unrivalled within the genre.

man, that messed me up, i'll tell you. I had always debated abortion by proving that the fetus was a child (which is pretty easy to do) I had never gotten that response from anyone before, they will do anything to keep from calling it murder, but yeah.
we know abortion is murder, we just don't care
Completely threw me for a loop, I couldn't believe the crassness.

Rofl bullshit. People that are 100% pro life or 100% pro choice both have some serious issues.
i'm not 100%. i would make exceptions in cases that threaten the life of the mother. (the reason i would make that exception is because even though they are both people, its not up to a court to decide which one gets to live, and which one has to die.)
I would almost surrender the rape argument as well, not because there is any other crime in the world where a baby has to die in oder to help the victim forget the crime, but simply because rape is brought up SO MUCH in abortion debates, and it is in fact only .01% of abortions are because of rape. I would sacrifice that part of the debate for the greater good.
I'm not an extremist, i just call it how i see it for abortion.
All the arguments you can make about why a fetus could be aborted also apply to a 3 day old baby, and yet you can't kill that. It doesn't make any sense. The ACT of birth doesn't physically change the baby. Its just outside of the womb now.
I usually call it life at about the 3 month mark, when a heart beat is present.
The problem is, its hard to determine EXACTLY the moment when the baby is conscious. It is somewhere between that 3 or 4 month period, but it can feel pain LONG before that. There is no one day, (if you were setting a limit) that you can say, "Today it is alive, and yesterday it was not" So.... Usually conception is considered merely for lack of a more concrete timeline.
See, if the pro-life side would give up the rape argument, they would make the pro-choice side that much weaker. And .01% as i said.
However, most abortions are simply because the woman made a choice to have unprotected sex, and now regrets that choice. Why can't pro-choice people see that? The woman GETS her choice BEFORE conception. Pro-life isn't anti-choice. Its pro-Responsiblity for your actions.
I wish sexual offenders were castrated. I mean that. Scum of the earth, they cannot change.

I agree that most abortions are a result of unsafe sex and the couple should grow up and take responsibility. However, rape is of no fault of the woman and she shouldn't be penalized. Like I said, abortion cases should be judged case by case and not in absolute terms of pro choice or pro life.
I could go for that. (its an improvement, after all) as long as the judge wasn't one of those women who like to say "until you have a uterus, you can't have an opinion!!!" which is bs, because i suppose ma'am, you got your uterus in that condition all by yourself?
it can feel pain LONG before that.
Evidence?
All the arguments you can make about why a fetus could be aborted also apply to a 3 day old baby,
False. Birth "provides a natural Rubicon" that ends the discussion. (Dawkins quotes from memory. Yay?)
we know abortion is murder, we just don't care
Did I miss something?
