I can't find it now. It certainly is no longer in the prominant place it was. Apparently if a poll doesn't say what you want...
The Democrats have proved to be out of touch with both reality, and the American people, and it will be their downfall come November. With that said, I would have been very surprised if the bill didn't pass. There was no way Pelosi was letting anyone leave the building until they got 216+ votes. What amazes me was how close it was, 219-212. Just look at the turnaround from the 08 election to now. The Republicans are completely united, while the Democrats are in disarray. And it took Obama to give a "verbal-type" commitment to Stupak, for Stupak to say "yes". I had respect for him for standing for his beliefs but he let him self go quickly, convinced by an "executive order."
We have to look at the bigger picture though and realistically, this bill will never see the light of day. There will be lawsuits for years, and the Democrats will most likely lose the majority seats in the House/Senate, which would probably kill the bill, before the Supreme Court does. IF not, a Republican president in 2012 would do the job. I'm not really worried about it, it's going like I thought it would and the Democrats are continuing the self pwnage.
