****ing.. Ray Allen and Paul Pierce had what amounted to an epic fail. Ray Allen needs to be traded this offseason. He's just awfully inconsistent and he was terrible in this series. Paul Pierce also failed to show up. Credit to the rest of the players who showed up.

In other news, referees are pissing me off. It's about damn time national and international sports other than tennis start integrating playbacks and such into their reffing. It boggles the mind that they let sports history be dictated by bad calls, reasonable or otherwise.

Meh, like I said, aside from the 4th quarter, the game was terrible. Some of it was good defense. Most of it was poor shot selection and poor shooting. I think the Lakers shot 26% at halftime. What the hell.

And yeah, that third goal being disallowed was ridiculous. And apparently, the ref never even gave a reason for it. Also, I think it was his first World Cup game...which begs the question: why? I mean, it's the second game in group play already. Little late to be getting brand new refs rotated into the action, right?
