This man continues to amaze me. If he's not the greatest rapper/producer of all time, who is?

ICP sucks. As for the emotional diatribe, I'm not sure why that always bothers you so much DS.
I don't care but if one is going to have an intellectual debate, the "intellectual" part is thrown out the window when one appeals to emotions, which a lot of these philosophical types do. It shows an inability to be objective. Also, attributing the disconnect between Middle Eastern Islam and "Modern" Islam solely to the Enlightenment is also inaccurate..

Oh God. I skipped to the part where Harry was schooling Hermione in logic and just facepalmed and cried a little. I hate Gary Stu's.

Also, Hermione continuously outperforms him in classes and magic and tacticx.
Don't get me wrong, RH's historical context was spot on but then he began his emotional diatribe which was unnecessary.
I'd like to know which part, exactly, qualifies as the emotional diatribe? I'm going to stand by the term 'bigot,' despite its inherent hyperbole, because tj is judging his neighbors (Muslims that he might speak to in his day to day life) on the actions of individuals thousands of miles away. Whether or not it was supposed to be a joke, the idea that speaking to a Muslim is dangerous to one's life is a little offensive.

As long as you admit your use of it being hyperbole because:
–noun
a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion
Based on the definition that I have to continuously repost on this forum, I'm not sure that TJ truly qualifies as a bigot.
Except he isn't a Gary Stu. The premise is that Harry is smart and was raised in a nurturing environment, but he isn't infallible. He is exactly as smart as a child would have to be in order to understand the concepts of rationalism that the Author wants to incorporate. You'll find that Harry is incredibly flawed emotionally and is more than a little socially inept. Also, Hermione continuously outperforms him in classes and magic and tacticx.
(If it turns out that you're teh author then I'm sorry btw)
Granted, I've only got to chapter 7 at the moment but basically the first few chapters are him consistently outsmarting McGonagall, basically showing off how smart he is and planning how to take over the wizarding world financially. He's shown to be smarter than his parents and everyone around him. He pokes holes in everything he encounters with his hax logicz. In fact, the first few chapters are basically the author shitting on JK Rowling and pointing out how stupid and illogical her world is. And the character is freaking 10 at the time. Its ridiculous how smart he is.
Its the classic fixfic.
Then Hermione is also a Mary Stu. Any 10/11 year old that smart just shatters my suspension of disbelief.
'Too make a long story short. It's when a writer is trying so hard to make a character awesome the readers actual start to hate him because the writer is always telling you how awesome the character is instead of you deciding you like him for your own reasons'- One definition of the term Mary Sue and the first few chapters of the fanfic in question.

I judged the religion (something I have seen you do to Christianity MANY times) not the people. Not every Muslim is a good Muslim (thank goodness).

It gets better once he is around people his own age and has to deal with stuff at his age level.
Really. As the note says, if you still don't like it by chapter 10, then you can give up.
also, Im not the author.
