DE, what do you suggest instead? What we are doing in Iraq and Afghanistan is costing lives. You are also not for "total war" (the very definition of that is to destroy an enemy to a point where he can never threaten you again). So what is your solution? What would you do differently?

I'm not a military strategist. I don't know how to take over or beat a country without stomping it into the ground so I don't know how feasible that is, but I'd probably throw my lot in with that idea.

And while its true that the war on terror has caused perhaps a paultry thousand or so western deaths its nothing to the hundreds of thousands to millions that will result from bombing the shit out of stuff. Nottomention that these will be civilian deaths. Men, women, children and babies.

An army is a group of people who are prepared to put their lives on the line to defend their country or attack another. These people are the only ones you should be trying to kill in a war. Killing civilians, ****ing children TJ, is not only a serious warcrime and illegal but is almost never moral in any situation. Doing so because they might attack us later on, is borderline psychotic and utterly unacceptable.

Read this, its very interesting. (read past where it says 'every man' to where it discusses the revision later. This is what we would be facing in NK. Every citizen is in reserve duty until age 60. They are literally ALL soldiers.
