It's just like what happened to Vader and Luke. He was the ultimate killing badass who cut down he and Luke's mentor, and it took his Jedi-trained, prodigy son to defeat him after two emotionally-driven, heart-felt duels that actually felt like they meant something. Not a single duel in the entire mythos, be it novel, comic, or game, has come close to them. Lightsabers used to feel like some real meaningful shit was going down... but now everyone under the sun is doing it to perfectly choreographed sequences and acrobatics that would make Cirque du Soleil jealous.

But whatever, so long as Lucas can make money off of butchering his own art, why should we care?

I think the Force users were ruined long before KOTOR. From the moment they were faster than the eye can see, it got ruined. Srsly, they're trying to make troopers be able to go 1 on 1 with Jedi and Sith while Force users can move at this incredible speed.

Was watching the trailer for Clone Wars... I see a lot of what the **** is going on.

It just occurred to me that you have an entire semester's worth of teaching material on the Godfather Saga, if not an entire year. Additionally, you could have an English class, philosophy, or art class on the subject.
