Spoiler:
Get it.

For all you whiny liberals (and Gideon) out there, remember the damn troops present and past.

My heart just exploded into tiny heart-shaped hearts. Cutegasm impending....

I'm only going for the 20 000.

I already have the 10,000. I'm going in 10,000 increments.

You can't have it!

If I admit to liking "Cry" by Mandy Moore, does that make me gay?

Everything else you do makes you gay, I'm not sure this hurts or helps you. Plus, I like Mandy Moore.

um, pretty sure i got 10k...

So I thought Pirates was fantastic, better than I could have ever expected from a 4th part. One question though, if Blackbeard was a huge pirate and by the looks of it, the most intimidating out of them all in this series, why wasn't he at shipreck cove in part 3? Surely he was a pirate lord.

😐

Did... did you watch a different Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides?

That seems counterintuitive to what we know about Blackbeard: He doesn't seem the type to play well with other pirates or give a damn about the good fight against Beckett, unlike even Barbossa. My theory is that he flew under the radar until the smoke cleared.

Yes, the 4th was better than 2nd and 3rd. And I wonder how powerful Blackbeard was compared to someone like Davy Jones.

😑

It was, by leaps and bounds.

In fact, I said as much like 5 pages ago. By now the statement should therefore have been etched into the stone of fact, no?

Janus, get off Blax's account.

Don't get me wrong, the plots of 2 and 3 should have knocked 1 and 4 out of the water and I think they were a lot more enjoyable than this one, but they were ultimately undone by the poor character development and plot management. This one was very adventurous as well.

I was just too bothered by the useless cleric, the boring Angelica, the boring Blackbeard, and not enough Barbossa.

Davy Jones > Blackbeard. Better villain, better powers, and more screen time.

How so? Besides having the Kraken that is. Sparrow made it seem like he was the most vicious pirate he ever met. Not to mention, he controls his ship with his sword and apparently he did the exact same thing to the Pearl.
