The Battle Bar, Our Wretched Hive of Scum and Villainy

Wookiee does not do Vol justice.

Wookiees never do anyone justice.

Yo that's racism, bro.

Wookies make kickass bowcasters.

Is it me or does anyone else love this theme as much as I do? Even after all these years, I still manage to listen to it now and then.

Still very riveting, even after 20+ playthroughs.

Though that video's top comments annoy me.

Haha that person picked KOTOR over some of the best games over the last few years. Why does it annoy you though? Do you not agree?

Though, the person failed to mention Baldur's Gate II, which is greater than all of them.

I always liked the final battle music with Malak.

BG II is now an exhibit in the Smithsonian.

As gameplay, animation, and voice-acting go, I know the 7th Gen Fallout games to be superior to KotOR---though not in terms of story/character development. Ehh... story's close for New Vegas.

And I have it on good authority that Mass Effect and Dragon Age beat out KotOR in all those arenas. Though I personally didn't care too much for ME (couldn't get in to it) and haven't played Dragon Age--I've been exposed to enough of each to see their quality.

Oblivion's the odd one out. Graphics are superior (to a certain extent), and gameplay offers more hours of content, but... time will not be kind to Elder Scrolls IV. Its flaws are very apparent now.

Spoiler:
She [Abeloth] had not revealed to Khai or anyone just how badly wounded she had been by the attack on Kesh. Vol had much of the power of Skywalker, combined with experience, and it had been a devastating encounter. pg. 47

Vol is now a true badass.

Who's the Sith who looks like a promotional shot of Jude Law from Enemy at the Gates?

Definitely not Vol. So I don't know. Nor do I care. And neither should you, because he's not Vol.

1. I've only played a little bit of Fallout 3 at my friend's house. But I think story and character development are huge factors in a game. To me, I would not be able to appreciate a game with amazing gameplay if it doesn't have a strong story and cast.

2. KotOR has one of the greatest twists in gaming history backing its already terrific plot. The story in DA😮 is cliche, but the side plots and character development are very well made. Many of the quests in DA😮 are repetitive and not very compelling, whereas the ones in KotOR are far more interesting.

3. I played ME a few weeks ago, and am about halfway through the game. First-person shooters aren't really my thing, and so far, the characters in ME aren't as memorable as the cast of KotOR and DA😮. However, the setting that Bioware established is incredible and the voice acting/dialogue are superb. I'm sure the game has a banger of a climax, but I just don't seem to push myself to finish it.

4. Vanilla Oblivion has too many destructive bugs that piss me off to no end. HOWEVER, Oblivion with mods is a whole different animal. It's a different feel in Oblivion with a large beautiful world riddled with caves/dungeons, abandoned fortresses, and villages all ripe for exploration, plus the fact that you are alone the whole time (unless again you download a companion).

Personally, I'd say

KotOR = DA😮 > ME I > Oblivion.

Free things are funz. Foos for actually paying for Ascension, although DS is a Jew so I guess it doesn't matter. A drop in the ocean.

I know!!! I feel compelled to finish everything in a game, otherwise I don't feel complete.

Doing that for ME was a pain, however. Searching for scraps of crashed probes and isolated mineral sites in those repetitive planets on that raggedy-doll Mako was incredibly annoying.

If any of you haven't played BGI, BGII, and BGII:TOB, I highly recommend it. It's quite old now...but it has an incredible plot, enormous amount of content, and such exotic settings and creatures. Dragon Age😮rigins is the watered-down successor of BG:II.

BTW, I JUST NOTICED THIS

It's a trap, anyone?

Spoiler:
Ascension is pretty good, though naturally everything that isn't about Abeloth and the Lost Tribe sucks. Daala, I'm looking directly at you. And Han. And Leia. And Moff Leccerson. And Jag. And everyone else in this book whose names aren't Luke, Ben, Vestara, Jaina, Abeloth, Gavar, and my man Vol.

Really, they managed to make motherfvcking Jaina interesting!?

Consider my mind blown.
