If you shoot those things five times with a hunting rifle, they explode in mushroom clouds.

For some odd reason it reminds me of the airspeeder Anakin and Obi-Wan drove when they chased Zam Wessel across Coruscant.

I've died that way before.

I need a signature, but my signature request hasn't received a response.

Don't ask there, that forum's pretty dead.

Send a PM to someone like Scythe. He makes a lot of signatures, and is good at it.

Scythe was a great Hero once, back when he had flesh on his bones and blood in his veins. But he's just a shell now. What does he know of the choices we face?

He made me a Yoda sig for the Yoda v. Voldemort battle I am doing for the rest of this week.

Found a working beta of Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

The part where Anakin is supposed to execute Tyranus?

No, where he lists what the Jedi should have done when they figured out Sidious was the Sith Lord. My favourite was that they take the recording of Sidious admitting that he was working with the Sith and that he ordered Anakin to slaughter the Jedi.

I don't suppose you have a time stamp or something? Which part is it on Youtube?

What recording?

If into the security recordings you go, only pain will you find.

3.50 onwards.

Thanks, I found it.

Mr. Plinkett
1. Tell Palpatine his term is up.

I'm not sure this would be legally or politically feasible; in addition to being the democratically elected leader of the Republic, Palpatine, by extension, outranks the Jedi Council. It would be tantamount to a police commissioner telling the president of the United States that he is no longer president.

Mr. Plinkett
2. Use the process against him.

I'm not sure this would be practically feasible; Obi-Wan's dialogue to Anakin in ROTS ("The Senate is expected to vote more emergency powers to the Chancellor today."😉 indicates that Palpatine remains almost universally popular within the Senate, so having Bail Organa call for a vote of no confidence in Palpatine wouldn't work, as he does not share Finis Valorum's tenuous political footing and political reputation.

Mr. Plinkett
3. Find out facts about the Clone Army

What about it? At this point, there is nothing to tie the creation of the Clone Army to Palpatine. That the Kaminoans can confirm the identity of Sifo-Dyas does the Jedi order no favors; it makes them appear responsible for the army's creation, which Palpatine could feasibly spin into a serious P.R. nightmare for them: See, they wanted the war: They were the ones who ordered the Clone Army to be created and isn't it a little suspicious that the other side is being led by Dooku, a legendary ex-Jedi?

Mr. Plinkett
4. Look into his heart

That Jedi are able to sense lethal intent without necessarily looking for it, and Palpatine managed to deceive the most powerful of them for years, indicates he is sufficiently skilled at shielding his malevolence from them.

Mr. Plinkett
5. Midichlorian count

A high midichlorian count does not determine dark side allegiance and would be purely concidental.

Mr. Plinkett
6. Physically confront Palpatine (in public)

As Windu points out, Palpatine controls both the Senate and the Courts. Conventional imprisonment isn't realistic.

Mr. Plinkett
7. Use blatantly obvious evidence to your advantage

I don't have a copy of ROTS on-hand, but I'm not sure Palpatine says anything damning in the recording with Anakin. The Senate knows already that Palpatine ordered the deaths of the Jedi; he admits to it in the Senate, "the remaining Jedi will be hunted down and defeated."

I found a clip of the recording on Youtube, and Palpatine mentions nothing especially dastardly. In fact, he says, "Go forth and bring peace to the Empire.

Mr. Plinkett
8. Team up together and murder him

Obi-Wan probably wouldn't have been enough to tip the scales.

No, it would be tantamount to the leader of the Army telling the President that he's a little worried that the guys very obviously trying to set up a dictatorship and that that shits not gonna fly. Particularly when Palpatine promised to end the war and give up his emergancy powers when Grievous was dead, and did not do so!

As explained above, Palpatine not giving up his emergency powers when the only actual leaders of the CIS are both dead could only be seen as suspicious. Asking him why he feels that only he is capable of leading and why he's not stepping down can only be positive for the Jedi, particularly when he's admitted to Anakin that he's a Sith Lord.

Plinketts point was to try to find facts to tie him to the Clone Army. In the movie theres no evidence that they've actually looked into it, which is really dumb considering how immensely suspicious it is.

That Jedi are able to sense lethal intent without necessarily looking for it, and Palpatine managed to deceive the most powerful of them for years, indicates he is sufficiently skilled at shielding his malevolence from them.

This is never explained in the movie. Its never explained how the can be in the same room and not even get a tingling for the guy. Hell, Windu even says that they can feel that 'darkness surrounds the Chancellor.'

A high midichlorian count does not determine dark side allegiance and would be purely concidental.

Not when he actually admits to being a Dark Lord to Anakin or when the Jedi know that a Sith lord is in the Senate, can sense the darkside around him and suddenly Palpatine has an ultra-high midi-chlorian count.

As Windu points out, Palpatine controls both the Senate and the Courts. Conventional imprisonment isn't realistic.

The Jedi go there to arrest him and do tell him he's under arrest. Confronting him in public just makes sure that it goes smoothly. Arresting him in public is a 100% certainty that he's out of power. Confronting a Sith Lord in his office where no-one can see you is basically asking for you to get raped and the blame put on you.

Palpatine explicitly calls him 'my new apprentice' and 'Lord Vader', moreorless admitting that they're Sith and as Sith that he manipulated the galaxy into war. From here his entire plan falls apart.

Obi-Wan probably wouldn't have been enough to tip the scales.

You and I know that. Does the audience?

Lucius, fvck you for stretching the screen.

FVCK.

FVCKING.
