Kai sighed and looked around "Please?" he pleaded "I wanna learn how to climb trees!" he fakely whimpered and forced his ears to lay down on his head "Please crow, i will do anyythiiing"

The small fox pup, James, looked up at the alpha "I..im sorry... b..but.. can you.. tell me a warm.. place to go... im very tired...." he was still scared of her, but was too tired to know it now.

She watched his antics a few feet below her and shifted her paws, crossing her right over her left. "Now Kai, it really is not all that hard. Why don't you go find a tree that'll be easy? I see one someways off..." Her voice trailed off as she peered into the forest. "Ah, yes. There it is. Quite a bit that way, but it'll be an easy first one."

Kai looked over and smirked "You just want me to leave....." he said "Do not forget that if a hunter comes.... well, you're defensless..."

"Of course I do, and you know it. A wolf is never defenseless, in a weakened state or not, but I will take that as a warning." She lay her head upon her crossed paws, watching Kai below her. She didn't know what he saw in her to make him stick around, to make him care. Granted, she did not like him, but she was grateful just the same.

Kai stretched and laid down. He had been thinking for the last few hours. "Crow, if you truly wish it, i will leave. After I rest a bit, i will leave you be." he said. He closed his eyes slowly and waited for her answr.

The Father, knowingly named Raith, came crawling out of the forest, bleeding and hungry. He had an accident and had been searching for his family ever since. He collapsed, everything going black.

James, the small fox, smelt blood. he ran to the smell and found a male wolf, obviously hungry. He sighed and nudges the wolf "Wake up." he said pushing the olf's head. "Wake up!" he yelled in his ear.

"Well, that seems uncharacteristically cold of you, Kai." She smirked and spoke again, "Although I'm sure that you're just eager and very willing to get back to kinder beings. They must be much more interesting than I am."

Kai's ears perked up as his body did "More interesting?" he asked "Thats... not evven close to the truth. You, Crow, are an amazing creature." he said and yawned.
