She watched his antics a few feet below her and shifted her paws, crossing her right over her left. "Now Kai, it really is not all that hard. Why don't you go find a tree that'll be easy? I see one someways off..." Her voice trailed off as she peered into the forest. "Ah, yes. There it is. Quite a bit that way, but it'll be an easy first one."
"Of course I do, and you know it. A wolf is never defenseless, in a weakened state or not, but I will take that as a warning." She lay her head upon her crossed paws, watching Kai below her.
