Two ways i can think of killing wolverine:
1. Turning him into a vampire and staking him
Inventive. Or give him the Zombie virus to shut down his HF then destroy his brain.
But yeah I would have thought:
- matter manipulation
- magic
- going back in time and erasing him
- burning (completely, such as Human Torch nova blast or throwing into the sun, so there are no cells left)
- acid (as in comic acid, powerful enough to totally destroy every cell). Throw him in a vat of Alien blood.
- Permanently switch off his X-gene then kill him any way you like or just watch him die from adamantium poisoning, then dispose of the body. Everyone from Doc Doom to High Evolutionary can switch of X-genes.

that was a what if story, and wolverine can be turned.

that was a what if about what would happen if he became a vampire which is quite relevent the the thread becuase that was the entire differences between that reality and 616. Says you, I have a comic were he bitten several times by vampires and nothing happens. Hell even the one time drac turned him and ended up healing from it and that was friggin when his healing factor was vastly weaker.
it was still a what if, hence non-canon. What if's usually don't pay respect to other characters since they don't have to deal with continuity (like how Punisher is always able to kill Marvel's heroes so easily in his What If's).

Wrong You have to read darker comic books to see the real power of wolverine you only see him heal from common gashes and stabs because thats all he gets but in truth he can heal WAY past super normal the hulk ripped him in half in one Marvel book and he still was alive he said to re heal from that he needed his lower half and it would reattach also wrong about his head getting cut off it would not kill him he can breath though his skin and still live but thats a good way of disarming him his body is built for survival thats his power to keep on living so really yo can only bring him to a state into which he is helpless because as long as theirs enough parts of him left he can re heal the most important part about this is its not about healing in his powers its about surviving with what is left as well as re forming his self.

That's just in Ultimates...which is not cannon and most people disregard.
In 616, he can be killed, it will just take a while and some creativity.

true, however his healing factor did not take a big hit or event a hit for that matter. He had insane healing factor feats since that event.
I know he has, but he himself said that it took a hit when he called the deal off. They probably dropped it since he would've died if they had kept it, and Wolverine can't die, he's Wolverine.
He gets around books more than She-Hulk gets around bedrooms.
