batman on the other hand has a finite and defined limit, to overrate is to assume higher when something is known and established to be lower.
batman beating superman was an extreme high showing, that was by no means something batman could or should do on a regular basis.

This is exactly why they powered him down. A being this powerful will become so powerful that there is nothing left to fight. Sneezing a galaxy away, holding a black hole in his hand . Your not going to sell comics if the story vanishes and there is nothing left to fight due to the fact that the main hero is above god.

Exactly why he is the most inconsistant character in all of comics today. At times very poor writing has him sneezing away galaxies, and at others he gets clearly blindsighted by the likes of Toyman.
He has been powered up and down a ridiculous number of times,
