KKK: Are they really THAT bad?

Started by Normal Guy17 pages

At one point the KKK might of had high officials, however, I seriously doubt that they presently do. Modern America has assimilated their hatred in different ways.

The "glass ceiling" that minorities bump into in the corporate world; the difficulty that minorities have when attempting to buy homes in suburban neighborhoods, and the prejudices that non-whites experience during day to day life are the modern manifestation of the KKK. This KKK adheres to the same basic principles as the old, however, it does so in a much more subtle and malevolent ways.

Well I rescind my opinion on that. Still, racism has evolved over the years. Economic isolation, employment discrimination, and subtle indoctrination through various media outlets are the modern forms of "burning crosses" and "lynching." The fools who go around in hoods and costumes are laughed at by the majority nowadays.

The only reason the thread starter would even consider joining this organization is because he is an idiot not because he's young.

When the **** did I say I was considering joining them? 🤨

education on the civil rights movement, and by extention the kkk is standard in the u.s. k-12 system of education and is taught in grammar school (ages aprox. 8-11)

either his school failed or he just wasnt paying attention. whichever the case, the standard 14 year old in america graphically knows far more about the past actions of the kkk.

Right, like I said, they began teaching us of the past actions of the KKK in the 5th grade. My school did not fail, I attend a great school, in a great school district in Nassau county, NY. And I was paying attention, I was in the top 5 in my elementary school. And where do you get that I wasn't educated on them? What does that have anything whatsoever to do with the topic?

I think everyone is saying that when you ask a question that indirectly dismisses their point of view and actions, that you represent a faulty logic.

Any explanations??

Any group that supports any kind of racism, no matter what else they do, are "THAT bad"... simple as that.

Sorry bro, but it's nothing to brag out.

Top 5 in college? Okay maybe that earns some respect for your opinion, but top 5 in middle school?

That's too funny bro. That won't impress anyone. Sorry.

Because we value our religious nuts as much as we do our secular ones.

so someone who is 30 yrs old is not an idiot because he joined the KKK at that age as opposed to a 14 yr old who are not as smart as a 30 yr old?

Can you explain how idiocy has nothing to do with age?

A fourteen year old is old enough to understand what the KKK really stands for, therefore if a 14 year old joins the KKK he is an IDIOT, not "young" or "confused" no matter if that kid is 20 or 40 he will still be an idiot.

And by the way, Manjaro, Robert Byrd (democratic senator) used to be an active member of the KKK.
